Weekend Reading – June is coming edition

Can you believe that May is almost over and June is just around the corner? Where did the time go? I’m finally feeling 100% after gotten the flu about 3 weeks ago. Phew! Now I can head back to the gym and start work on my awesome beach body [sarcasm]!!!

Earlier this week I had the honor to write an article called Tawcan’s 7 Phases of Retirement for Joe at Retire By 40. If you haven’t read it yet, please head over and check it out. I also got selected as part of the Plutus Awards blogger panel, I’m very excited!

Here on this little blog that I call home, I shared our recent dividend stock purchases. I can’t believe we’ve invested about $35,000 already this year. I also asked readers if you’re focusing on the wrong things, and shared a fun post on weird things I did to save money in my 20’s.

I hope everyone enjoy your weekend and for our US friends, a great Memorial Day weekend.

Here are some great articles that I really enjoyed:

Mr. 1500 says Normal Sucks.

Steve shared 7 things those who will never retire say.

Robb explained why does car dealership want to buy back your car.

Maggie said financial independence is not a marathon.

J. Money shared The ABCs of Finance.

Early Retirement Now discussed why they have $0.00 in their emergency fund.

Justin shared his thoughts after 1,000 days of early retirement.

Sam wrote why we need to always focus on abundance instead of sacristy to grow your wealth.

Amber Tree Leaves answered why a wrong plan is better than no plan.
